In Korean culture, the combination of chicken and beer is often referred to as "chimaek" (치맥). This term takes the "chi" from chicken and "maek" from "maekju" (beer in Korean). At Ole Chicken, we provide an opportunity for all customers to indulge in the taste of Korean chicken and experience Korean culture.

Ole was constructed with the vision of bringing contemporary Korean "jumak" to the West Coast. We are passionate about bringing innovative recipes for korean food and serving our core community around Vancouver. "Jumak" in the old Korean society was a inn or tavern that travellers could rest at and gather around for a hearty drink with good company. And that's what Ole is committed to- providing a home away from home with good korean drinks and music.
